Labor Day weekend

 

Brigham City is the

"Gateway to the world's greatest wild bird refuge"

so we decided to go see it.... 

                               
                              it's a ways out there but really worth it!

It's been dry this summer

and a lot of the water is gone and

it left the fish high, dry

and dead.

I can't wait to go back in the Spring.

This weekend we celebrated 

two birthdays in our family ---

our grandson, William Smith (in California)

turned 2 years old on Saturday

Leisa made a cute cake!

We sent Will a castle for a prince.

We got to Skype with them for his birthday

and that was fun for us, so far away.

 

Our granddaughter, Taylor Heward

turned 1 year old on Monday.

 

We got her a cute car and a baby princess doll
