After teaching school for 18 years I had a lot of stuff stored in our basement. I decided to donate it all to our niece, Daylin who teaches SpEd in Wilsall, Montana. We drove the scenic route on back roads up through Idaho and into Montana. It was a beautiful drive!
We spent a few hours touring Historic Virginia City that is a part ghost town.
We had a fancy little dinner in the Wells Fargo Restaurant
This was stamped on our tablecloth.
Our cute room for the night.
The Madison river the next morning. We drove up through Bozeman and across beautiful mountain roads to Wilsall, visited with Daylin and unloaded our car! Then we headed back home by way of Yellowstone.
The North entrance.
We drove the East road, a way we hadn't driven before.
Out of Yellowstone Natl. Park and through Grand Teton National Park
Summer fires are making the sky quite smokey.
You can usually see the Tetons clearly.
Jackson Hole
We stayed the night in a cabin in the mountains just outside of Afton, Wyoming
The new Star Valley Temple.
Our cabin in the woods
a hot tub cabin next door
Such beautiful country. Fun trip and nice to get rid of stuff!
