1st-4th of July

Dale had to leave for work and as soon as he left Leisa and I started
putting together a plane quilt as a surprise for him.  We used old blocks
and pieces from Grandma Cole's stash and Leisa and I created new planes
and figured out how to put it all together.

Heidi and Sam came from Wisconsin and the kids had SO much fun together! 
Unfortunately Doug's kids are in Arkansas this week.

We made a paper pieced plane.

Then it was time for the 4th of July parade.

After the 4th everyone headed back to their homes in Wisconsin and Virginia.
