Baltics Capital Cruise - Day 13 DENMARK

July 3rd
COPENHAGEN, DENMARK



When we were here last week
we walked around this harbor
back and forth too many times!

We have an excursion
the Grand Tour of Copenhagen
to see the sights and drop us at the airport.


When we rode the S-train on our first day
we walked under this bridge to get to the harbor.
I think we walked past this spot SIX times as we were
hauling our luggage up and down the waterfront looking for our ship.

we saw this shirt for sale
perfect for our first day here in Copenhagen  :)

all the trains have bike cars because
EVERYBODY rides bikes!
 




Langeline Pier Road

quite a few people had these "prams" for their children
I didn't see any American "strollers"

we were dropped off at the airport
where we checked our luggage

and caught a Metro train back to the city

We spent a few hours at Tivoli Park

we had a not so great meal for 75 Kroner






the trees and flowers were beautiful


we had to recycle our drink cups
and this is the Kroner$ we got back from the machine

flying to IRELAND


we are flying AerLingus


leaving Denmark



flying over the North Sea and the United Kingdom



 flying over the Irish Sea to Ireland

we arrived at 11:05 pm

Dublin, IRELAND

picked up our luggage, went through customs
hurried to a rental car place and got a car
just before closing!
Doug drove, on the LEFT side of the road,
at midnight, in the dark, from the airport to our hotel!
(I think we only got lost twice)
