Wes and I left Heidi and Sam's house (after Mayci's baptism) and drove to
the Outer Banks.

| We stopped for dinner in Manteo, North Carolina and had Hatteras style Clam Chowder. YUM! |

| A bridge then a tunnel, then a bridge then a tunnel.....multiple times. We crossed the Chesapeake Bay. |

| We drove around both islands looking for the wild horses. |
| It was too wet and rainy and we couldn't find the horses. |
| We found wild horses in a magazine. |
| We left Chincoteague and Assateague Islands behind and drove into Maryland. |
| and then through the middle of Delaware. First time Wes and I have been to Delaware together! It was getting late, raining and dark and lots of traffic as we crossed into New Jersey for the night. |
| We ate dinner at a Cracker Barrel in New Jersey and stayed the night in a Comfort Inn. First time for Wes in New Jersey! |
Wes and Laurie have now been to ALL 50 states in the United States together!
