June - Kinley's 6th & Kanyon's 1st B-Day, Denver trip, summer fun

End of the school year

my good friend, Karen, gave me a
thank-you/good-by/friendship bracelet.

I moved to Deweyville - finally- and we started working
on the end of our house.

Leisa called us and suggested we meet them in Denver, Colorado
for a few days of vacation.
We drove into Rocky Mountain National Park,
it was foggy and cold but very pretty.

After Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park we walked all over
Estes Park which Wes and I love.
We bought candy and salt water taffy - Yum!

I laughed so hard because when I was a kid we
loved to smoke/eat these candy cigarettes.

The 2nd day we drove all around Denver,
to the RED ROCK Amphitheater,

Buffalo Bill's grave and museum/gift shop

 we walked around the Denver Temple

We drove downtown, seeing the Mint, art museum,
and Capitol

we saw the "blue bear"

and the "blue mustang" at the airport

we stopped at a giant milk can
famous for great ice cream

We dropped L,D,&W off at the Denver airport
but their flight was delayed due to weather --
Andrew was flying back from a business trip and was also
delayed in Denver ...

Back home...

Kinley turned 6 years old and we went to Chuck E. Cheese

dinner to celebrate Kinley's & Andrew's birthdays
at Longhorn Steakhouse
